to the Finnish Canadian Fish & Game Club.
When we leave the beaten path, our own survival and the survival of the wilderness is at stake. The results are up to us, and we must accept the challenge.
In 1964 a number of like-minded Finnish Canadians decided to band together and form a club. The Finnish Canadian Fish and Game Club was born.
The purpose of the club was and still is to promote and participate in all sorts of outdoor activities here in B.C., such as hunting, fishing, fish and wildlife conservation, as well as practicing and teaching good sportsmanship, outdoor safety and ethics.
Today the club has over 200 members. General Meetings are held the first Tuesday of most months at 7pm at the Scandinavian Community Center in Burnaby.
